• Referral codes you share or redeem

• Device type and operating system (iOS / Android)
• App usage data and feature interactions
• Push notification preferences and interaction data
• IP address and approximate location (country/region)
• Crash reports and performance data

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Operate the quiz and leaderboard
• Operate the in-game points system, including recording your answers, tracking your score, and calculating your accuracy
• Display your public profile, answer history, point total, and accuracy record to other users
• Process and attribute referral rewards
• Send push notifications for activity relevant to you (questions resolved, comments, follows)
• Improve and personalize the Service
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms
• Send product updates and announcements (you can opt out at any time)
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, email delivery). They are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Third-party data providers: Some of the question data shown in the app is sourced from Polymarket (polymarket.com) via its publicly available API. Your activity within Tyki is not shared with Polymarket. However, please note that this data originates from Polymarket and is subject to Polymarket's own terms and policies.

Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Next Markets Corp., our users, or the public.

Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before that happens.

Public profile data: Your username, point total, season score, accuracy statistics, answer record, and leaderboard ranking are visible to other users of the Service by default. Community posts and comments you publish are also publicly visible within the app. Your unspent point balance is not disclosed to other users.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal compliance purposes.

Paper Trading history and transaction records associated with a completed season may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form after a season reset.

Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely as they no longer identify you personally.

5. Push Notifications

With your permission, Tyki sends push notifications to inform you about question results, new followers, comments on your posts, and other activity relevant to your account. You can manage notification preferences at any time in your device settings or within the app.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Tyki is a mobile app and primarily uses device-level identifiers and session tokens rather than browser cookies. We use analytics SDKs to understand how the app is used and improve the product. These analytics are privacy-friendly and do not track you across unrelated applications.

You can limit ad tracking through your iOS or Android device privacy settings.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

8. Children's Privacy

Tyki is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us via Instagram DM at @tyki.prediction and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to:

• Access and download a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information in your account
• Delete your account and associated personal data
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• If you are a California resident, exercise rights under the CCPA

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also send an in-app notification.
